Windows and Linux soon.

Permissions

Two prompts, and what breaks without each

Microphone

Captures your side of the conversation. Decline it and the transcript carries the interviewer only, so nothing you say reaches the context.

Screen Recording

Carries two things at once — the screenshot queue, and the system-audio loopback the interviewer's voice arrives on. Decline it and you lose both.

First run

From the DMG to the first answer

  1. 01

Open the DMG, drag the app into Applications

The installer window is the app on the left and an Applications shortcut on the right. Nothing else to choose.

  2. 02

Launch it and grant both permissions

macOS asks for Microphone and Screen Recording on first run. Grant both — the section above says what each one carries.

  3. 03

    Quit and reopen once

macOS does not apply a permission change to a process that is already running. This step is not optional, and skipping it is the most common reason the transcript arrives half-empty.

  4. 04

⌘S when the call starts, ⌘R when you want the answer

Those two keys are the whole product. The other 16 are on the support page, and every one of them is rebindable.

After the call

Where your sessions live

Transcripts, screenshots and solutions are written to your own disk when you close the app — the 50 most recent rounds are kept, and screenshots are stored as thumbnails rather than full-resolution frames. Only the context you actively solve leaves the machine. What we do and do not receive.
