What this policy is
The terms govern the commercial relationship. This page covers conduct: the uses that will end an account regardless of whether the bill is paid.
You may not
- Use the service to break the law where you are.
- Record or transcribe people in a jurisdiction or setting where doing so without their knowledge is unlawful. Consent rules for recording differ by country and by state, and they are your responsibility, not the software's.
- Share, resell or rent an account, or pool one allowance across several people.
- Automate the application to generate solves without a person driving the session.
- Attempt to extract the prompts or model configuration, or use the service to build a competing product.
- Probe, scan or attack the service's infrastructure, or attempt to reach another account's data.
Where the product may be used
Use it where it is allowed. Whether assistance is permitted in a given interview is set by the organisation running it, and checking that is your responsibility before you join.
Nothing on this page grants permission that the organisation running your interview has not given you.
Reporting abuse
Write to support@understudio.app with enough detail to identify the account or behaviour. Reports are read by a person.
Security disclosure
Report vulnerabilities to security@understudio.app rather than publicly, and give us a reasonable window to fix the issue before disclosing. We will not pursue legal action over good-faith research that stays within the boundaries above, does not access other people's data, and does not degrade the service for anyone else.
Response and disclosure timelines we commit to:acknowledgement window, fix window, disclosure policy.
Enforcement
A first breach usually means a warning and a chance to correct it. Serious or repeated breaches end the account. We will say which clause was breached, and purchased tokens on a terminated account are handled under the refund terms.
