Where they differ
The two work the same way: a hotkey takes a screenshot, the app listens to the call, and the answer shows in an overlay the share does not pick up. The differences are in the details.
Price is the biggest one. Interview Coder is $299 a month or $799 once. Understudio is $25 a month on Pro, or a 250-token pack for $9 with no plan at all.
Understudio transcribes both sides of the call as separate channels and carries earlier answers into the next solve, so a follow-up lands on the right answer. It also reads your own Markdown notes for context, and saves sessions on your Mac.
